Which ad bought that phone call?
We put a separate tracking number on every channel you pay for — paid search, your Google profile, Local Services Ads, the truck — so at the end of the month the answer is a list instead of a guess.
Reading this day: 13 calls, 3 rang out. Paid search produced four — one of them lasted 22 seconds, which is a wrong number, not a lead. The two longest calls of the day both came from referrals you don't pay for. That is the kind of thing a monthly spend report will never tell you.
Every channel gets its own number
Four numbers, four answers. Nothing changes on your end — calls ring the same phone, in the same order, with the same person picking up.
Google & Bing ads
Swapped in dynamically, so the number a visitor sees matches the campaign that sent them.
Google Business Profile
A tracking number in the profile with your real line as the website number, so the listing stays clean.
Local Services Ads
Reconciled against the leads Google bills you for, which is how you catch the ones you were charged for twice.
Print, mailers, the truck
The channels everyone assumes are unmeasurable. They aren't. They just need their own number.
How a month runs
Same four steps every month, in this order. It is a routine, not a project.
Numbers go live
Local numbers in your area code, provisioned and pointed at your existing line. Ported numbers stay yours if you ever leave.
Routing and recording
Ring order, after-hours behaviour and voicemail set the way you already run them. Recording is opt-in per state, with the announcement handled properly.
Calls get tagged
Every call comes back with source, duration, first-ring outcome and whether it was answered. Anything under about twenty seconds gets flagged as noise rather than counted as a lead.
Month-end read
One page: calls by channel, missed by channel, and cost per answered call where you're spending money. No dashboard login, because nobody opens those.
Who this is for
- The phone is how work actually arrives
- You're spending on more than one channel at once
- One to six locations, one main line
- Restoration, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, remodel
- Leads come in by form, not by phone
- A single channel, where attribution is already obvious
- Call centres and heavy IVR trees
- You want the recordings for sales coaching — that's a different product
Two numbers and a week
Easiest start is one channel you're already paying for. A week of tagged calls usually settles the argument on its own, one way or the other.
